Mr. N. Peri Sastry

N. Peri Sastry is an XLRI alumnus. He brings more than 35 years of rich experience in Training and Human Resources Development (HRD). He has been associated with organizations including Bank of Baroda, Philips India, Tata Exports Ltd., Khimji Ramdas (Muscat), Hoechst Schering AgreEvo Ltd., and Hoechst India Ltd. His last stint was with Gujarat Ambuja Cements Ltd. as ‘Head - Human Resources Development (HRD)’.

He is a seasoned Training and Organizational Development (OD) professional and his core competence areas include Manpower Skills Inventory, Career Planning & Development – Assessment of Potential, Competency Mapping, and Management Succession Planning.  He has conducted training programs on a variety of HR topics including HR Branding, Innovations in HR Practices, Performance Management Systems, Motivation and Morale, Communication Skills, Interviewing Skills, Decision - Making Skills, Team Building and Managerial Leadership, Self-Development, Time Management and Change Management.

He is a life member of National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM) and Indian Society of Training & Development (ISTD). He has also published many articles in leading journals and newspapers. He has been a speaker at various HR conferences in India and abroad.  He has also been associated as ‘Guest Faculty’ with NMIMS & Bajaj Institutes for guiding students pursuing MBA & other disciplines.
